HOTEL POLICIES

Brisas is a small hotel with limited availability; therefore, the confirmation & cancellation policy are less flexible than those of larger hotels located in more accessible spots. We recommend our guests make the necessary travel insurance arrangements to cover any eventuality as a result of a cancellation.

What do I need to do to confirm a reservation?

Requirements for confirmation depend on the time of the year

Single night stays LOW SEASON: 100% pre-payment, other times CREDIT CARD GUARANTEE

SUPER Season, CARNAVAL, LOW SEASON

100% pre-payment  

The rest of the year (HIGH & MID SEASONS)

50% advanced payment;balance to be paid upon CHECKIN.

What happens in the case of a cancellation?
Cancelling a confirmed reservation: Once confirmed, with the deposit or prepayment, all modifications to the original reservation are considered a cancellation and the full policy applies. Early checkout is considered a cancellation.
Low Season (May through mid November)
Up to 60 days prior to checkin Return of 80% of deposit or prepayment  
Up to 30 days prior to checkin Return of 50% of deposit or prepayment  

There will be no returns within 30 days prior to checkin.

Season (Mid November through April)
  Up to 30 days prior to checkin Return of 80% of deposit or prepayment  
Up to 15 days prior to checkin Return of 50% of deposit or prepayment  

There will be no returns within 15 days prior to checkin

What happens in the case of NO SHOW?
Reservations already pre-paid or guaranteed with deposits the appropriate cancellacion applies The hotel reserves the right to make use of the room starting the day after the agreed checkin date.
Can I change a confirmed reservation dates and use it sometime in the future? What happens if I leave earlier than my checkout date?
Cancellation policy applies in full, whether a change is made prior to arrival or as a result of early checkout.
 

The hotel times

CHECKIN Between 3pm & 8pm. After 10pm will be considered a NO SHOW.
CHECKOUT Until 11am - late checkout is not possible during the season.

HOUSEKEEPING

Between 10am & 1:30pm (after 1:30 pm, if we could not access your room it will be cleaned the next day, however you may ask us any time for towels or other things you may need.

HOSPEDAJE NIñOS (ADULTS WITH CHILDREN) ADULTS WITH CHILDREN AND GUESTS UNDER 14 YEARS OLD stay in JARDIN rooms  
There are rooms with either an additional twin bed, or a sofa (depending on the child's age), as well as baby cots available. Please do note that while staying at the hotel we expect that children will be under parent's supervision at all times while in Brisas public areas. If you need babysitting please let us know in advance and we shall do our best to assit you in this matter.  
Any child under 10 must always be accompanied by an adult while on the upper floor or terrazes of the hotel.  
NON SMOKING NO-SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms or in indoors in the hotel. Smoking is permitted in the room terraces or gallery areas as long as it does not inconvenience other guests. Please understand this policy is strictly enforced, any indication of it being broken shall incur charges up to 2 nights standard rate
